mysteries

Mike and I were on our way down to a track meet with coach Fralick on a glories Friday. We stopped to get something to eat at bill and carols. Mike said "I really have to go to the bathroom! Do you know if there are any inside." I said "no there are none your sol." Mike said "I’ll just go in between these two cars and tell me if anyone is coming" and he did. The next day after the track meet coach got pulled over by the cops. The police told coach "that he was exposing him self in public outside of Bill and Carols on Friday". That day at practice coach asked us "did you or mike do anything on the way down yesterday that I would've to get pulled over by the cops for," but of course we both said no. Coach said "well I got pulled over by the cops, they told me I was exposing my self in public!?" Coach told the cops that "I had two kids in the car with me" and thats when he told us he just thought of us mooning somebody walking by the store. Luckley the cops just let him go and told him the consequences but exposing your self in public and he said "that I will have a talk with those boys!," and went on his way. So now coach will never let me or mike go down with him to a track meet, but we always joke about that day and we will never forget it either.

Treasured photograph

My most treasured photograph is our football team all sweaty and muddy but full of joy after a big win against Ogemaw Heights. It was our first playoff win in over 10 years, and the feeling was intense. We were standing on the sidelines raising our helmets to the crowd in excitement and Kenny was in front waving the Petoskey Northmen flag with the crowd cheering and screaming. I can still see the large blue and white P flag floating through the air like a majestic eagle. I remember the 6 seniors on our team in the locker room after the game crying with excitement. I still remember Keith dancing on the benches in the locker room to wagon wheel and seeing coach just sitting by him self on the coolers taking in all the hype of the game, he was sitting there zoned out just think of his first playoff win ever in Petoskey. I will never be able to forget how I felt before the game with butterflies and then after the game with the intense feeling of a win. I will always remember that game and the enthusiasm during the game in the huddle of Kenny telling us never to give up and we will come out with a win tonight.

Treasured item

My Mickey Mouse blanket was my most treasured item when I was growing up. I can still remember the softness of the blanket when I would be covered up in it. It would feel like it was my mom holding me in her arms the feeling of warm and comfort. My blanket would follow me around like it was a part of my body. Dragging behind me. I will never forget how I would feel when I would be curled up in my Mickey Mouse blanket.

Boundaries

My home is where I go to be with my family and where my friends come to hangout. My home is where I can go to rest and be peaceful. My home is where me and my friends go and hangout and watch college football on the weekends and play Xbox. My home is where I can be myself and do what I want to do.
